I love quick crochet projects, so I decided to share this super quick crochet poncho pattern with you! A giant 16mm Q crochet hook and Chunky (6) yarn will help you crochet this gorgeous lace poncho pattern in a breeze!

I designed this poncho for my sister Lorna who lives in the Lot/Dordogne region of France.  She gave me a few pointers and left me to design and knit!  The hat (which has 2 sizes, s/m and m/l), followed soon after and matches beautifully.  A random selection of moss (USA seed), double moss (USA moss) and garter stitch make for a lovely texture that lets the tweedy yarn shine through.  And the chunky alpaca rich yarn will keep you toasty warm.   An easy knit for the beginner and yet interesting enough for the experienced knitter who likes to watch the world go by or knit and natter with friends at the same time.  The stitch patterns are made from knit and purl stitches.  The hat pattern has knit 2 together during the top decrease.  Knitted on 2 needles and sewn up.  English, line by line instructions, with British/American terms.  Any chunky/bulky yarn should work fine – just check your tension/gauge.
